This is a new adition to my collection. I was lucky enough to be given this double bass or “The Hungarian” as I call it for obvious reasons. There is some damage to the front which is why it rattles a little. I’m taking it to a be fixed up next week. Hopefully all will be well.
This is my old faithful Aria 12 string guitar. I bought it when I was just 18 years old and have never found a better sounding or easier to play guitar. It has a partial re-fret a few years ago and I had a new water buffalo horn nut and bridge added at the same time. It has amazing tone and sustain.
This is my Admira Concerto Spanish guitar. Great tone and very easy to play.
My pride and joy, a custom made Wal mkII custon bass made for me by Pete Fish. It has a special double octave neck usually only found on Wals 5 string bass but they made a special for me. It’s a joy to play. Recently re set by Paul who now runs Wal Basses
This is just indulgence, a great shot of the headstock!
Actually my step-daughters but she doesn’t play it. I use it to practice slide, tricky to play as I can’t get used to the rounded back.
One day I will take lessons , until then I just pick a little.
My Sitar bought from Jaz Musicals in Southall around 10 years ago. I’ve yet to record with it yet it sounds wonderful. Great to play but a terror to re string!
This is my Tanglewood acoustic Bass guitar, bought on a whim from my good friend Jim at Memphis Music in Hampton
Very easy to play and quite loud!
A bit of a novelty but great if you want your pic in the local press! A present to me from Jim at Memphis Music in Hampton
