I bloody love playing at The Railway! The sound is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and they only book class acts.
I catch the train there and have a few beers afterwards so if you want to join me that would be great. We’re third on and there are some great acts on before and after.
This is what I wrote for the press release….
Nick Tann starts his summer schedule of gigs at The Railway Inn Winchester on Friday 12th July. The Eastleigh based singer songwriter, described by BBC6 Musics Tom Robinson as “Just so good”, is no stranger to Winchester’s music scene having been a regular solo performer at The Railway. A regular at local festivals, Nick performs often as a soloist but this time he is showcasing his exciting new band featuring Bastien Terraz on double bass and Guy Siviour on drums. “The band’s acoustic footprint matches what has been in my head for years and people are really liking it” says Nick. Known as one of the hardest working artists in the south, Nick books all his own gigs and festivals and creates all his own publicity, he even wrote this!
The show starts at 7.30 and also features Capulus, Flying Machines, Soulcreek and Ollins Lande. Tickets are at the affordable price of £5 with special discounts available via nicktann.co.uk. you can also find him on Twitter @Nick_Tann and at “nicktanninstagram”
