Three in the Attic at The Railway Winchester

After some time away from the promotional machine, Nick Tann returns to The Railway in Winchester on Saturday 21st October 2017, with a wonderful musical event which brings together three of the most exciting and original bands on the national circuit today. Anna Neale is a weaver of musical odysseys that blends eastern traditions with western pop, and The Black Feathers are an acoustic duo with stunning vocal harmonies and a heart-stopping stage presence.

The night is headlined by The Nick Tann Trio, who deliver a shifting array of classic styles from acoustic blues to jazz and soulful folk – all played with elegance and eloquence.

The Railway is situated at 3 St Paul’s Hill Winchester SO22 5AE

The perfect blend of a seated, candle-lit setting with sumptuousness and emotive music. Tickets are £10 in advance from

Having earned his stripes doing everything from solo acoustic guitarist to playing bass in bands, from playing deft originals to crowd pleasing covers and exploring everything from jazz to folk to rock, Nick now sits at the head of one of the most exciting trios on the national circuit today.

The Trio builds on the inherent emotions that lie at the heart of Nick’s songs using less-is-more textures, enriching the musical flavours and adding depth but letting the songs speak for themselves. The music is both familiar and impossible to pinpoint, a shifting array of classic styles, folk, rock, soul, jazz, and r’n’b; but deconstructed and put back together in a very singular style.

The Black Feathers are an acoustic duo whose vocal delivery leaves audiences stunned and ecstatic in equal measure.  Theirs is an intimacy and understanding that some bands can never rival, as their sumptuous vocals entwine, something majestic is released both from the pure passion of the delivery and the heart on sleeve nature of the lyrics.

Anna Neale a singer-songwriter who does nothing less than create music odysseys that have so far taken the listener on epic journeys through Roman history and more recently provided the missing link between Eastern traditional sounds and Western pop as the perfect blend of occident and orient.
